Rona Zlokower has participated in and led public/private partnerships in the healthcare, corporate and nonprofit sectors for over 40 years. In 2000, Rona created MediaSmart with Selma Deitch, MD, founder of Child Health Services, Manchester, NH, to address the increasing influence of media on children’s health and behaviors. In 2007, under Rona’s leadership, the program became its own non-profit entity named Media Power Youth.
Rona has a BS from Syracuse University and a Masters in Communications Management (MCM), from Simmons College, Boston.
Loren worked for over 9 years in public school districts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire as a teacher, Mathematics Consultant and Title I Specialist. She is experienced in teacher training and curriculum adoption, having led professional development opportunities for school districts in Lunenburg, MA and Mont Vernon, NH.
She is currently an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University where she teaches in the Arts and Humanities field. She also serves as a course author for Daniel Webster College.
She has a BA in Social Research and Sociology and a M.Ed, Masters of Education from Simmons College, Boston
Tina has been in education teaching health and wellness topics throughout NH both on site and online since 2005. She joined Media Power Youth in 2016. Tina will be facilitating our online professional development courses as well as conducting on site trainings and workshops.
Tina holds a M.Ed in Educational Technology from Boise State University, ID. She continues to hold a NH teaching certification and online teaching certificate.
