From advertising and instant messaging to television, CDs, MP3s, DVDs, cellphones, the internet, social networking and video games, media can pose both opportunities and problems for developing children and teens.

Children are more likely to succeed in school and make healthy decisions when empowered to use media smartly. Join with parents, professionals, and youth in empowering the youth community with media awareness and healthy decision making.

Media Power Youth staff provide interactive presentations and leads discussions focusing on a variety of topics on media influences on child and adolescent thinking, behavior, health, learning and decision-making.
